Snowmen at Night READ ALOUD STEM™ Activity
Snowmen at Night by Carol Buehner
Snowmen at Night by Carol Buehner is an imaginative story of what snowmen do when all of the kids are sleeping. It’s a perfect read for the long winter months in your classroom.
Connect the Read Aloud to STEM!
What if your students could help the snowmen play throughout the night? This question is the inspiration for our READ ALOUD STEM Challenge for Snowmen at night.
Using simple materials, students design and build the fastest sled for their snowmen to race! The challenge helps students think about friction and how to create an object to contain their snowman.
