Santa's Sleigh December Christmas STEM Activity

Santa's Sleigh December Christmas STEM Activity

Make learning fun with this Christmas STEM Challenge!

The students receive a letter from the STEM elf that all of Santa's reindeer went on strike. In order for Santa to be able to deliver presents to the children, they will need to build him a wind powered sleigh using only the materials provided. This is an excellent activity to do just before Christmas break!

This activity helps students develop critical thinking and engineering skills. Students plan, design, and execute their own ideas. After they have completed their activity, there is time for reflection on what worked and what didn't.
