Build a Wampanoag Wetu STEM Activity

Learn about the Wampanoag tribe with this hands-on First Thanksgiving STEM Challenge where students build a Wampanoag Wetu!

Students learn to work cooperatively in small groups or on their own as they explore the Wampanoag and how their homes were made! This is a perfect addition to any unit on The First Thanksgiving!

A reading passage and questions are included to help students learn more about the Wampanoag Tribe!

Students plan, design, and execute their own ideas. After they have completed their activity, there is time for reflection on what worked and what didn't.
